Trek to Naneghat Ghatghar Jivdhan

We were 5 guys who decided to have a trek. So we arranged 3 bikes from Virar, Mumbai to head towards Naneghat from Virar (10:00 AM Sat) -Thane-Kalyan-Murbad-Basegaon for Naneghat (2:30 PM Sat) which is about 150 KMs.

One of our friend joined us from Basegaon who convinced  us to go to Naneghat from a different path than usual trek path.

We started our trek at 3:00 PM on Saturday for Naneghat. We expected the village friend to know the different path but he disappointed us and we lost track. We knew our destination hill and also we could see that from where we got lost, so estimating the path we headed forward from wrong track to right track. At bout 5:30 PM our track combined with the usual track where we can find the arrows and which was pretty easy one.

There are about 3 water kunds (lake types) made by gov for trekkers in between which keeps the hope of availability of water alive. At 6:00 PM the darkness started and clouds started lowering our visibility. But the trek was pretty easy and straightforward and hence we were able to reach @Naneghat at 7:00 PM Satuday.

BEST PART COMES HERE : WE COOKED CHICKEN BIRYANI THERE AND HAD AWESOME TIME HAVING IT

After having dinner there we slept like we have not slept in decades!

In morning, we went for Jivdhaan! and had some following unexpressable experiences:
- RAIN :  Such heavy rain, never saw it before like this,                   "flowing rain"
- WIND :  Much more powerful wind that it made all the crabs               there fly in air!
- SCENERY : Have been to 5 other treks, all good, but this was                something else
- PATH : I have been to hard, easy paths! This wasnt                      either of them, you have a narrow path to walk                    in and wind pushes you in east to west direction ,                so basically if you walk side by side against                    wind, you would be walking straight :)

Overall, if I am to rate out of 10, then not less than 8/10 probably 8.5/10!

I can ensure that experience wise it would be just UNIQUE!

P.S. : Thanks to my trekmates : Vinay Parekar,  Vishwajeet Samant,  Roshan Medatwal

Few of many memorable moments in last 2 months in SOKRATI!

- From big HOUSE to a small HOME
Yes, coming from an MNC, a real big house owned by total unknowns to a small home which feels like ours from day of start with introduction, is like getting a very precious gift in small box than holding a big empty box.

On first day, I was sorta personally introduced to each and every Sokratian may it be engg team, business team, admin or our care-takers. Its a special moment when on your first day everyone welcomes you warmly into the family and everyone else know you irrespective of you have yet remembered his/her name or not.

Well in brief the warmth of the welcome is something that I could feel tangibly and was amazing! :)

- Second day and you are already a part of team from weeks
From second day itself, I jumped in project as if I was already a part of the team from weeks(actually months!). I started understanding, developing, sorta researching, improving etc my project that in a day I could say it is MY PROJECT.

The importance of above thing will be understood by those working in service-based MNCs easily! :)

Briefly, every day is just amazing and unforgettable :D
In detail, please wait for my next blog. :)
